Route & map
A tide-assisted Thames corridor through west London.
Swim London is being designed to work with the river. Swim London takes swimmers through one of the capital’s most iconic river corridors, from Brentford past Kew Gardens, Chiswick, Hammersmith Bridge and Craven Cottage, finishing at Putney, the historic starting point of the Boat Race

Tide-assisted
Swim London is built around the tide window. The river works in your favour, not against you.
West London corridor
The route follows the Thames through landmarks of west London, with the final course confirmed nearer the event.
Subject to permissions
Route, start, finish and cut-offs are subject to Port of London Authority approval and stakeholder sign-off.
